- A 12 watt light costs - Rs ~500
- a multi-colored light costs roughly 3 times right now.

- BLDC fans start from Rs 3000
- When we were renovating another room, electrician made us put 2x the number of lights than required. How much light is more light/sufficient light? Its difficult to quantify by us normal beings. So this time we didn’t depend on electrician’s calculation of number of lights and used the following calculator - https://www.alconlighting.com/blog/residential-led-lighting/how-do-i-determine-how-many-led-lumens-i-need-for-a-space/
- Rule of thumbs
- don’t put light in corners unless for decoration
- 1 watt - 100 lumen therefore, 12 watt → 1200 lumen
- We were renovating a room that is both living + dining room so went with max(living, dining)
